Drive northwards on the N1 from Pretoria to Polokwane (Pietersburg). Turn left at the Kranskop toll plaza towards Modimolle (Nylstroom). Turn left on the R33 to Modimolle at the T-junction. Drive through Modimolle and continue for 60km to Vaalwater. Pass through Vaalwater and find the Total garage on your left just outside the town. Turn right on the R33 to Lephalale (Ellisras). Drive for 88km to the T-junction just outside Lephalale. Turn right to Lephalale and drive for 800m to the first tarred road to the left just past the Palm Park Hotel. Turn left on Nelson Mandela road towards the Matimba Power Station and Onverwaght Mine. Drive for 14km to the Steenbokpan turn off to the left and turn left to Steenbokpan. You will lose cellular contact on this road and only regain it on your return. Please contact us after you have turned left on 014 766 0272 and inform us of your position. Drive for 38,4km to the crossing indicating Stokpoort to the right. This crossing is the centre of Steenbokpan. Turn right and drive 800m pass the Hennie de Lange Cafee and Theunispan Kontantwinkel. Turn left just before the yellow notice board with the buffalo head and writing “ZINYATHI LODGE” on the left side of the road. This turn off is before the road becomes a dirt road. After your turn to the left, drive on the sandy road for 9km straight into Zinyathi Lodge gate. Pass through the gate, immediately turn right and follow the fence to the end of the open land on your left. Turn left and follow the fence to find the lodge on your right.
